Our Story

The grand opening of HighPoint Church was Sunday, June 10, 2007 when we had our first public service in the auditorium of the Pavilion located on Emerald Downs Drive in Auburn. We moved to Covington Elementary School in January of 2008. As we continue to grow, we plan to lease, buy or build a central facility that will serve as the home base of operations from which we can plant HighPoint campuses throughout the region.

Our Mission is: Elevating Lives by connecting with others, encountering God, giving Bible based directions, and serving.

Our core values are:

God- Everything begins and ends here. It's all about Jesus. He is our reason for everything- our creator, our savior, our primary love, our Lord.

Grace- Undeserved favor and opportunity changes lives. We are the recipients of grace therefore we extend grace.

Goodness- We live a life of goodness before God and "do good to all men" because He has been good to us. We reflect moral and operational excellence.

Generosity- The most radical display of generosity was when Jesus gave ALL by dying on the cross for us. Since He is our example, we are generous with our time, talents, and financial resources.

Growth- The mark of health and maturity in any living organism is continual growth. Spiritual, relational, and numeric growth should all co exist in a healthy church and individual.
